TORONTO, ON- An immersive experience that brings life to Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings is making its way to Toronto, Ontario.
The “Imagine Van Gogh,” experience is a light show consisting of animated versions of the masterpieces, which will fill the entirety of the room it is debuted in. Visitors will have the chance to wander through 600,000 cubic feet of projections and view Van Gogh’s works in a way they have never been displayed before. “Imagine Van Gogh” comes from the collaborative minds of Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron, who also curated other light show pieces at Cathédrale d’images in Les Baux-de-Provence.
This show will begin in Toronto on May 1, in the building that had formerly been home to the Toronto Stars’ printing presses, at 1 Yonge Street. If you’re too eager to wait until May, the show is currently in Montreal, at the Arsenal Art contemporain. Tickets sell for $39.99 for an all day pass or $34.99 for a timed pass on a specific date.
It is safe to say this show will be an unforgettable experience, taking you through the brilliant mind of Van Gogh.
