NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y.- Fall has officially started! Looking for some fun fall activities to do with friends and family? There are many events and activities to do near campus. The most popular events coming up are the Autumn Fest, the Fall Festival Craft Show, the Great Pumpkin Farm, Becker Farms and many more.
The Autumn Fest is happening on Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., located on 2660 Saunders Settlement Rd. This event includes a Farmer’s market along with a vendor show. If students are thinking of bringing along younger siblings, there are children activities there as well.
Another option for an event to attend is the Fall Festival Craft Show which is happening on Oct. 14 in North Tonawanda. It also has kids activities and games to keep younger siblings busy and family friendly activities such as a pumpkin patch, live music and endless entertainment offerings. There is food and beverages provided along with a Craft Show to enjoy (or more information: www.ntfestivals.com).
There are also other options for picking out pumpkins to bring home from the Great Pumpkin Farm. The Great Pumpkin Farm is located in Clarence, N.Y., open from Sep. 15 to Oct. 31. It provides activities, entertainment, and food such as fried dough, french fries, nachos and much more to do with friends and/or family (for more information: www.greatpumpkinfarm.com). Besides pumpkins, there is another option to pick apples at Becker Farm along with a petting zoo, homemade fudge and jam. Becker Farms is just a beautifully scenic thirty minute drive from campus, located at 3724 Quaker Rd. in Gasport, N.Y.
Getting off campus and participating in Fall activities can be a fun and exciting experience with friends and family to enjoy this fall season!
