The Super Bowl recipe you need

With Super Bowl Sunday just around the corner, it’s necessary to have the perfect recipe if you’re hosting or going to a party. It’s always a good idea to have the essentials, like cool themed foods and wings for sure.

However it’s fun to have unique football and team themed snacks to impress your guests. This recipe for chocolate covered football strawberries will add fun and will be noteworthy at your next Super Bowl party.

If you’ve made chocolate covered strawberries before, this recipe should be nice and simple. Here is what the recipe requires:

1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
12-14 large strawberries
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
2 Coffee mugs
piping bag
#2 tip (for the white chocolate decorations)
Parchment paper

To begin this recipe, you should start by microwaving the dark chocolate chips in a coffee mug for 30 seconds or until completely melted. Once you have the chocolate stirred and melted, you can begin dipping the strawberries into the chocolate by holding them by their leaves. Each strawberry should then be placed on the parchment paper to dry for fifteen minutes.

In a separate mug or microwavable dish, melt the white chocolate chips by heating them in the microwave the same as was done for the dark chocolate chips. Once melted, yet slightly cooled, the white chocolate should be placed into the piping bag. From there on, you should begin to draw football like seams on the chocolate covered strawberry. It may help to simply look at a picture of a football and try and mimic the look of it.

It is recommended that you serve this tasty treat chilled. If you are a chocolate covered strawberry lover, you’re guaranteed to enjoy this. This sweet snack will be a hit at any Super Bowl party, adding a twist to the usual food that is offered.
