The idea of this sub shop was inspired by a local hotspot in Vermont, the state where the owner is from. Dolan said she missed the grinders and to satisfy her craving she decided to make them herself and share them with the community.

For the owner, “Cal’s Grinders” is more than a business.

“I am leaving a very awesome job to do this, it is a step of faith,” Dolan said.

She described herself as a “Jesus lover” and the shop’s mission as “bringing prosperity to the community”.

The price range of the menu is anywhere between $8 and $11 per person.

While talking about the shop’s price strategy, Dolan said, she will try to keep the price “as low as she can”.

The shop is scheduled to start its business at Harvest Festival on Sept. 23. The menu specializes on cold subs and single speciality hot subs.

“I want to make few things and make them amazing,” Dolan said.

The owner said, through particular business, she wants to bring good to the area and build relationships with the community. She also added, “My mission is to provide a happy, uplifting experience and delicious grinders.”
